Abortion
Abortion is deliberate termination of a fetus that is typically taken place in the first seven months of pregnancy. Now over the years the topic of whether or not abortion should be made legal is quite commonly debated. Although it may seem to be a gender versus gender it is actually quite diverse on either side of the spectrum. Granted many have their own respected opinions on the matter, many states in the U.S have been considering or already followed through with an absolute ban on abortion. However we believe it is a women's choice on whether to cancel their pregnancy or not. Sometimes, a woman may be harmed if she has a baby. She could have been raped. Men may not want to have their children killed, but they will most likely never have to carry a child. They will never know the effects. Some people think it is murder. There are laws that state a that a pregnant women can not get an abortion after a child is viable to live. That date is 24 weeks after the last menstruation cycle. If a woman gets an abortion, it is her choice and her choice alone. People can try to influence that decision, but they cannot control her. If she wants one, she should be able to get one.
A Woman's Choice |
Some believe that it is their choice whether or not to allow abortions. It is a woman's choice. For those males who are pro-choice, they do not have to suffer through childbirth therefore it would be irrational to assume what it is like. Many of the women to get an abortion are single and are too poor to care for a child. People can regret getting one. That is their fault and their fault alone. It was their decision and no one was able to force them to that decision. It was their own choice. It is a woman's choice.

Laws |
Over the past few years over 200 bills restricting women's rights have been created in comparison to men's. Whether it may seem noticeable or not women are slowly being suffocated into a shell of which they won't be allowed to exit. Already ten states in America have placed an outright ban on abortion for women who have been pregnant for twenty weeks or more. In fact in the year of 2015 four states enacted abortion. This is a rapid problem that needs to be solved.
